to touch the untouched

For Lia, Reiki is to be present to and as the spaciousness of Being. The work itself arises not as practitioner and client, but as a singular whole with no separation, as this spaciousness, this opening, is One, and this One is healing. This is to be present to and flow as Source, and this is where true healing work arises. ~ Samana (Spiritual Teacher and Ayurvedic / Healing Arts Counselor)
Reiki and Aromatherapy
Reiki its gently and non-invasive, promotes relaxation and reduces tension of mind and body. By following a set of hands positions, the practitioner slightly touchs or hover the receivers body -who remains fully clothed, assisting the energy pathways to clear and release toxins to recover its natural rhythm. Originated in Japan, Reiki or universal life force or prana, is a spiritual healing practice that flows naturally where is needed, allowing the body to rest and rely on its own wisdom to heal itself and to restore the natural state of well-being.
As an alternative medicine, aromatherapy is used for a wide variety of conditions, relieving pain, improving mood or increasing cognitive functions. Subtle yet powerful, the essential oils penetrate our body at a molecular level, transmitting the wisdom and teaching of the plant. As an art and science, the essential oils extracted from flowers, roots or other parts of the plants having therapeutic properties can balance, harmonize and promote the health of the body, mind and spirit.
And together, Aromatherapy and Reiki, during or after a session, they reinforce each other, helping the healing process. Applied on the skin or by inhalation, they calm, lift and decongest the body while nourishing and strengthening the spirit.
Will Reiki be good for me?
If Reiki appeared in your thoughts, then Reiki is good for you. Reiki is the gateway to the unanswered and is one, if not the One, that can hold and connect the dots when no one else can determine the cause of your pain, symptom or sadness.
Although Reiki does not diagnose or cure diseases, Reiki can be a good way to re-start if you are experiencing living the past instead of the present, recurring patterns are well known and / or for any other reason, your energy is exhausted beforehand.
Reiki relaxes and releases the stress stored in the mind and body allowing to recover space and to harmonize with your natural state of well-being. By being present with what emerges, Reiki gives support and, in turn, encourage the internal healing process to unfold. Therefore, it is not uncommon for pain or symptoms ease up or to open a deeper understanding of them.
If you are healthy, Reiki is also good for you, as it promotes greater well-being.

SESSIONS
Held as One, sessions begin by bringing to a sacred place situations of un-ease that have arisen or need support, honoring the space to heal. The techniques are chosen and the intention of the healing work is invoked to access a deeper level of consciousness in each session.
Sharing thoughts, laughing or crying often arises when the energy begins to flow, restoring its natural rhythm, and is a natural way of decongesting and releasing toxins. Silent sessions, on the other hand, are welcome and sometimes recommended, since it is in deep silence where the sweet scent of Being is experienced.
Aromatherapy can be used during the session by palms inhalation or with a diffuser. After the session, essential oils can extend the healing process.

Lia has a great vibe about her- I had never had reiki done before but contrary to my initial skepticism, reiki with Lia works as well as a good, therapeutic massage or acupressure. She has a caring and calming personality and focuses on whatever the particular problem is– muscle ache or strain, headache, or stress of any kind– I’ve found that the effects of reiki- which as far as I know is just getting me to relax and moving energy around!–tend to be longer lasting than some of the more invasive methods of pain relief and stress management I’ve tried. So I definitely recommend trying reiki therapy with Lia.
